I was wondering the same, but I really wouldn't pay more than 30g for one.

500 is actually kinda cheap. It takes 200g to salvage just 1 (1/12 chance from charr hides). Please tell me who is selling them for 500g, I'll buy about 20 of them.

What items do you salvage to get fur squares anyway?

Use expert salvage kit on charr hides, you have ~1/10 chance of getting fur sqaure.

I sold one I had for 500 gold.. which was cos I was desperate. It costs 400 for an expert kit, not 200. If you wanna go out and kill em yourself then it takes ages. I remember I got sick of getting fur squares when I saved up a pile of 11 hides and got NONE. not only that but I had a pile of 17 one time and got ONE fur square on the LAST hide. That's so crap, I feel sorry for rangers.
Anyway, I ended up buying hides and in the end, if I sold em for 1100 each I'd make about 100 profit.. and that's for hours of work. |
